Chrissy Morgan (BMI) is a voice that puts a pep in your step, a wiggle in your walk, and a fire in your heart. With a career spanning the rock-n-roll haunts, smoky jazz clubs and local theaters of Detroit, Morgan’s serene and hardy voice can cut blazingly through or blend harmoniously with any genre of any scale She’s the lead vocalist for the jazz pop band Chrissy Morgan & Her Fabulous Band , the alternative rock band, Bricktown Station (HOME, 2006/ ARE WE THERE YET?, 2010), and ABC (Acoustic Bruce & Chrissy). She has also been a studio session vocalist for over a decade. Her first solo album, "Simple Love Songs", was co-written with her musical partner in rhyme, Susie Woodman. More recently Morgan has dabbled back into her acting pursuits being featured in the films Wildcat and Dandelion and her lyrics were featured on the recently released tune “Pendulum” for the band Killer Diller. When not writing songs, performing, recording or teaching vocal lessons, Chrissy is a true Lumber Jill; chopping wood, chipping trees and creating trails on her property in the bluegrass with her husband Chris.
